Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness Why does Biden play Iranian poker with American and Israeli lives? Answer? He envisions war sort of like affirmative action, in which the less accomplished belligerent is allowed all sorts of concessions for the sake of equity. Israeli and American military capability, and particularly their missile defenses, are seen as… Continue reading War By Affirmative Action?
We Are Well Beyond Hypocrisy
Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness The abject narcissism of the insular Left is startling. They apparently believe the American public is amnesiac enough to forget what leftists once did, now that they’re doing the utter opposite. And they assume we are to discount their hypocrisy and self-absorption simply because they self-identify as erudite and moral… Continue reading We Are Well Beyond Hypocrisy
A Therapeutic Middle East Versus A Tragic One
Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness Classical diplomacy warns leaders to be neither obsequious and appeasing abroad, nor gratuitously boastful and hard-headed. The usual advice is don’t-tread-on-me resoluteness, or what Teddy Roosevelt characterized as “speak softly and carry a big stick.” The alternatives – whether “speak loudly and carry a twig,” “speak softly and carry a… Continue reading A Therapeutic Middle East Versus A Tragic One
Hamas and Amoral Clarity
Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness One unexpected blowback from the medieval Hamas’s barbaric murdering of hundreds of Israeli civilians is the revelation of current global amorality. Will he be physically and mentally able to complete… Continue reading Joe Biden’s Race Against the Truth

Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness The American post-Cold War order from the Ronald Reagan through George W. Bush administration is over. Barack Obama began its erosion with his tired lectures about the past sins of the United States. Obama empowered radical Islamists. He invited Russia back into the Middle East after a forty-year hiatus. He… Continue reading Biden Abroad: The Moral and Material Collapse of U.S. Foreign Policy
Hang All the Members of the Liars’ Club?
Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness Federal prosecutors last week announced the indictment of U.S. Representative George Santos (R-N.Y.) on a host of charges, including misuse of federal campaign funds and wire fraud, almost all of them resulting from his pathological lies. Certainly, Santos deserved the attention of prosecutors for lying on federal documents and affidavits… Continue reading Hang All the Members of the Liars’ Club?
Dominion vs. ‘Russian Collusion’ and ‘Disinformation’
Victor Davis Hanson American Greatness Fox News is reeling, both financially and with respect to its talent, after being drawn into a long lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems. The network just settled for an astounding $757.5 million and soon after released Tucker Carlson, the network’s highest-rated host.
