Unfortunately, I think that voting out progressives is not enough. The problems we face go to the roots of society. The founders devised a government meant for a society of virtuous individuals, that is, mature individuals, adults, not overgrown adolescents. But I fear that is what we in the West have devolved into-overgrown adolescents. No, we need a fundamental renewal, a return to the concepts of personal responsibility, self-reliance, and liberty not as the right to do whatever we want, but the right to do the right thing.
We need to grow up.
