Sadly, I think that Dr. Quay buys into the narrative that Eco Health Alliance, DARP, Wuhan, etc., are some kind of altruistic entities, meddling with nature to create a virus that currently does not infect humans, in order to create an antidote for a time when that species jump happens. I wonder if Dr. Quay is aware of the current ‘experiment’ where, once again, Chinese scientists (and one must assume with US funding) have created a respirator virus from pangolins, which, when injected into humanized mice, infects the brain, and causes 100% mortality. https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.01.03.574008v1
It is naive to think that these experiments are for the human good. The purpose of these experiments is biological warfare.
This information needs to be told to all in this country. It is an outrage that such complete disregard for human life has taken place and continues to do so. Thank you so much for educating us in what has and continues to take place in such companies as EcoLabs
I enjoyed this podcast especially Dr Steven Quay about the early pandemic timeline and policies that were successful (especially Taiwan) and that had U.S. adopted the 10 min temperature checks (with positive results quarantined) we could have prevented 98.4% of the COVID spread at the outset. Why are their 59 bio labs across the world (19 in U.S.) still being allowed to continue gain of function research?
Very hard to follow Quay. I stopped listening after he exposed the names of the two chinese scientists, but not the two in the U.S.
Quay is another naive man if he thought 95% of the U.S. death could have been prevented if we know what we know now. He forget US still letting flights into America cities from China/Wuhan after China had banned all of its domestic flights in/out of Wuhan.
Sadly, America absolutely played a part in the birth of COVID-19 travesity. All fingers point to NIAID and Fauci.

President Trump stopped flights entering the country from Wuhan as soon as it became clear the SARS-CoV-2 virus had more than likely originated from the level IV bio lab in Wuhan and not the local wet market (Chinese people don’t eat bats). Remember how he was immediately denounced as a reactionary Neanderthal by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her subsequent pleas to visit San Francisco’s Chinatown in order to virtual signal the supposedly racist Trump?
Maybe if we had followed Taiwan’s common sense model of early detection and quarantine we could have prevented the hundreds of thousands COVID-19 deaths and destructive lockdowns that negatively affected so many American lives?
N.B.: Taiwan recently had an election for president. Its pro independence Democratic Progressive Party won, which was a slap in the face to the CCP.
The Taiwanese used paper ballots, had same day voting, and required voter ID. Maybe we could learn a lot more from them?
Excellent podcast. We certainly got our money’s worth with Dr. Quay’s interview and the lecture on Herodotus and Thucydides. Also liked the honest review of the new Napoleon film.
I was listening to Lou Dobbs the other day. His guest was China expert Gordon Chang. He believes there are probably a dozen more Chinese bio labs like the one found in Reedley scattered across the country.
