“Gerrymandering” and the inevitable court disputes that arise is a predictable waste of time. I’ve seen proposals that uses GPS coordinates and current census numbers to establish State and Federal representation districts. The advantage of this method is crystal clear, the simplicity is obvious and it takes out the so-called “racist” motivations by redistricting commissions yet I was told that such a proposal violates, as an example, the TN Constitution. Still haven’t gotten an answer…
