  1. Thanks for the ethnic slang Jack and thanks for the etymology Victor. Mass media hasn’t wiped out our linguistic peculiarities and data shows that Yankee dialects in particular are becoming more pronounced. Words can root us as much as a multi-generational farm in these times of drift and change. Ya’ll are Mensch, brahs, aye’uh.

  2. In the story “The Godfather” Fredo Corleone was the unintelligent, spineless brother who wanted to be loved by everyone and who betrayed the family. An existential threat, his brother Michael (the follow-on Godfather) had him assassinated. Rush Limbaugh coined the nickname “Fredo” for Chris as the dull brother in the Cuomo family after Chris went to Cuba in 2016 and made some stupid comments about the regime.
Vis-a-vis CNN in airports, CNN was actually PAYING THEM to be the sole news source and gave up the idea in 2020.

No one would ever accuse me of being an intellectual , but, I absolutely love listening to Victor Davis Hanson, he says the things I can’t articulate , and keeps me informed. Thank you, Victor!

  4. Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the easiest thing to
be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider
worries that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the
top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people
can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more.
    Thanks
