Join Victor Davis Hanson and cohost Jack Fowler to analyze the Nov. 5 election: Trump wins, the people fed up, the end of the end of never-Trumpers, the polls lie, Left dividing and divided, Harris never had momentum, poor choices of the Biden-Harris admin, the Left went radical, VP picks matter, and what will the Left do to Trump the next three months.
Another treasure podcast.
Thx.
Regarding ppl tiring of the leftists emphasis on racism and their denial of citizen concerns, the daughter of the late (pro football) great Jim Brown brilliantly reflected the reason half black Harris lost:

It’s a beautiful autumn day (blue skies and crisp air) and “morning in America.” I think we are collectively sighing in relief that the totalitarian takeover of our government has at least been stopped for now. All credit goes to Donald Trump for the greatest political comeback in modern history. Who else could’ve survived two assassination attempts, five lawfare cases, and two impeachments?
We must support our great President now. Do not pull back the throttle or relax at this time. The left never stops, and are well funded. They still hold the reins of the powerful government agencies, ngo’s, charities, etc, etc.
You pay for all of this!! YOU PAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES TO FIGHT YOU!
They will not simply surrender this income and power stream. If you don’t believe this, watch President Trump’s inaugural address from 2016. The faces of the swamp are visible all around him. Read their faces!
Cut their funding, dissolve agencies, remove bureaucrats from their feathered nests. IF WE DO NOT CUT THE GOVERNMENT BY AT LEAST HALF WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE SLAVES. We are paying for our own downfall.
I apologize for yelling at you. See you January 20th.

In hindsight, it’s probably better that Trump wasn’t re-elected in 2020, since he would have faced a Democrat-controlled Congress. Now, he can push through his reforms in an expeditious manner, if Republicans work in unison.
I hear your point Craig, but respectfully disagree. Had Trump been re-elected in 2020, the odds are good (yes, NOT a sure thing at all) that continuation of his pressure and sanctions on Iran would have resulted in the fall of the mad mullahs, a decent new regime in Iran, peace continuing in the mid-East, more Abraham Accords including Israel and Saudi Arabia, and the world wouldn’t be on the brink of WW III.
Russia may well have not invaded Ukraine. The progressive agenda would not have been installed to the extent that it has been in. The country would not have had eight figures of illegal migrants invited in to the country.
Cavuto: We have had our opinions, for a long time that Cavuto is a Trump hater. When his show comes on, we change the channel. We are avid Fox Viewers and we don’t understand why Fox keeps him around.
You had a great show tonight. Kudos to you and Jack – the dynamic duo.

Victor – Thank you for a tremendous broadcast. It was great to learn from all your insights.
The story about how California farmers having to compete with subsidized raisins from the EU was very helpful in understanding what people go through when the government does not protect its citizens from unfair trade. It was extremely sad to hear how a number of farmers that you knew personally had evidently committed suicide in response to their economic plight. The cold indifference of government to its citizens has tragic consequences.
It was good to hear how President Trump cares about the middle class in America and has exercised reciprocal tariffs against nations who sell their products in our markets. Trump’s business sense and compassion comes through when he acts to protect the interests of our citizens.
Appreciate the insights on the former republicans who have done much to harm Trump and conservatism. Perhaps they never cared for the policies that they had once advocated for or more likely, they now care more for themselves than the policies and the American people. This, too, is sad and the nature of man when he is proud and self-seeking.
I will continue to pray for our country, its leaders, its people, and its advocates. May God bless you in your service and personal life.
A followup, listening on Friday, the 8th. Victor’s predictions about Jack Smith and the indictments are proving wrong.
Smith is shutting them down; apparently DoJ is sticking to the legal idea that they cannot indict a sitting President.
They tried to get the process moved up, all the while expecting that Harris could not possibly lose.
But they miscalculated.
Watch for the remaining state indictments to collapse, and the convictions to be overturned on appeal.
Professor, Thank you for highlighting weeks ago, the disconnect between the polling and the increased support for Trump from various voting blocs. Your logic rang true and eased my concerns of a President Harris.
