Gavin Newsom Is No Obama, Clinton

Donald Trump’s first State of the Union speech of his second term was long as it was a ‘good slice of Americana,’ argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” with Sami Winc. The images of Democrats sinking into their chairs as Trump praised the USA Men’s Hockey Team and memorialized the horrific murder to Iryna Zarutska further showed the nation that the party of FDR and Clinton is now occupied by such “a sad group of people” with contorted faces.

  2. Victor, I’ve been dealing with an incurable cancer for about 2 years. 1.5 years ago, my bone marrow biopsy gave me 1.4 years of life. I did a lot of reading just as you did, but I focused on enhancing my immune system since there was no cure, and this choice ruled out the normal cancer chemotherapies and speculative hormone experiments. Using diet (no sugars or starches) and fasting (23 hours a day) I am now a tiny bit beyond my anticipated fate. I think the latest theories of cancer focus on the atavistic characteristics of cancer cells. There may not be a specific mutation that accounts for my difficulties. As you may know, for my form of cancer, anemia and drastically low platelet counts are symptoms of the problem. Without getting into specifics, I have been dealing with extremely low platelet counts as well as very low red blood cell and hemoglobin counts. So, I am not able to do a much in the way of exercise. I am currently rejecting any form of red blood cell transfusions (none for over a year) and further platelet infusions. My data suggests the latter aggravates my immune system, the normal response to a platelet infusion is a drastic lowering (30% to 50%) of platelet counts a week or two later. I’d enjoying sharing some of my experiences with you. Please feel free to use my email address if you wish to contact me. By the way, the symptom-related therapies that I have rejected typically cost about $300,000 a year. I’ve done better with diet and fasting.

  3. Well, Victor, even in dealing with cancer, you continue to educate on the topic. Hang in there, Victor. You are willing yourself to good health with the help of a lot of prayer. God has a plan for you.
