The liberals are so in control of everything and in lock step while conservatives have to fight one at a time as they reach the point where one by one they see the train derailing coming and have no way to curtail what is happening. It’s individuals vs a collective and the individual can never win enough to make a dent in this craziness. Often I have to come to choose to watch things burn hoping it wakes people up. Are we at that point with this liberal madness Victor?

    1. another reason the Dems want Gun Control – they believe they can take over and keep power must have our guns?

    2. Lockstep obedience in a political party means there is fear of consequences for not advancing the indefensible messages.

  2. Question for Sami: What is the French word for novel?

Could Victor comment on the etymology of the word novel?

  3. CAN someone please give a logical explanation / reason OBAMA and now BIDEN have been sending money to IRAN, supporting IRAN ? is it a pay play scam or simply Obama sees Iran as underdog fighting Jews / Israel to save the world of their using of O2
why did O ship $160 Billion in cash to IRAN- really? CASH in this age of technology – how much did Kerry lose on the way?
What is the goal? What is the gain?

  4. Victor always seems to have this unremittingly pessimistic view of civilization. Societies that achieve material affluence and security are not doomed to degeneracy, it just confronts them with a different set of challenges. In Vedic astrology, the signs are divided into three stages: animal, civilization, and spiritual. The whole point of the spiritual stage is to reunite civilized people with their animal nature, so they may act in accordance with their true will without depending on the outside enforcement of a harsh natural world.

  5. Like an old black and white movie, where the leading man slaps the hysterical woman, or the school mega bully that a hired street fighter beat to a pulp in front of the other school kids, I was wondering if there’s a metric to ascertain the level of violence required to return a situation to normal – to find the tipping point.

  6. When will enough people be so unhappy and disillusioned with the tyrannical state that they vote in concert with their best interests rather than against? Are we near the notorious tipping point?

  7. Victor – Here’s a sampling of the failure for man to live a virtuous life that merits heaven.

Mark 10: 17-31 …a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

…But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Abd they were exceedingly astonished, and said to him, “Then who can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”

Romans 3:10-20 …”None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless, no one does good, not even one.”

…Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Titus 3:5 He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:8,9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works,

Romans 5:6-11 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person–though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die–but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have not been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life….

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,

John 1:12,13 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

  9. Victor –

Romans 3:21-26 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it–the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

  10. Victor –

2 Corinthians 5:20,21 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Acts 4:11,12 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is no salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 16:31…”Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved,…”

  11. Victor –

Romans 10:9-11 Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
