  1. Thanks Victor for your very logical analysis and commentary on the destructive liberal forces at work in our American society. I enjoy the collegiality and humor that is manifest between you and Jack. It reminds me of listening to friendly people discussing issues as they sit around the table after a fine meal. I totally agree
with your premise that a marriage between physical work and abstract thinking is likely the reason we have been successful as a species. I am primarily a biologist by training and have recently retired after 50 years of teaching. However, I have also been a florist, a landscaper, a house painter, a roofer and a backhoe operator. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as operating a backhoe on a job that has to be finished when the weather is 32F and raining or wondering if your coworker installed the roof jack below you properly. I believe these experiences are synergistic and I appreciate, through your discourse, that the ancients did too. Please stay well and stay working.

  2. Right on about Trudeau. What a sad joke he is. Who is supporting this guy?
We had a competent leader in Harper. We threw that away for this teenager (stolen from Jordan Peterson but, apt).

  3. Hello Victor Davis Hanson,

Growing up and going on family road trips we were told if you are stuck on the road during bad weather with snow or rain that it is best to follow a trucker because they have the best road instincts and driving skills. Truckers are the best drivers on the road basically. Thank you for supporting the American people and bringing us up with your knowledge and wisdom.
    Thank you,
    Marie

  4. Interesting that in the so-called “free” America, Russia Today (RT.COM) has been down since early this morning. Can we all say CENSORSHIP??

  5. Given recent comments by Bill Gates regarding the Omicron variant perhaps he could consider earmarking some of the $1.75 billion he has donated to the DC’s Covid program to fund “Loss of Function” research.
