  1. Am really disappointed that Hanson continues to support Trump, who I consider a draft-dodging liar.
As a conservative, I used to enjoy the commentary of Hanson, but no more.
Hanson comes across as a supporter of Trump, if not a sycophant.
I have now decided to become an Independent and, by the way, I am a 38 year Vet. of the USMC and a retired Atty at Law. Not that my background makes any difference.
Wish Hanson would talk about Trump’s denigration of McCain and ignoble comments about our military, all the while pretending to be
supportive. Many of my Vet. friends feel and think the same as expressed above.

  2. I have learned Professor Hansen that you speak truth and apply history to current events. This speaks beautifully to my mind. I watch you on YouTube as well. Thanks for your efforts to get the truth out about what is happening within the United States.

  3. Seven Days in May was based on the 1930’s plot to overthrow President Roosevelt after his 1933 executive order prohibiting private ownership of gold. The Marine colonel was the hero in the movie because the real-life hero in the ’30s was MajGen Smedley D. Butler, the two-time Medal of Honor winner who the industrialists (including I.E. DuPont) wanted to use. The Army was tiny compared to the number of WW I vets; all combat hardened. The industrialists wanted a dumb military general who they would follow. Looked at MacArthur but he, with his aide Maj D.D. Eisenhower, put down the Bonus March vets in 1932. Butler was retired and embittered but went to President Roosevelt and played them along until instructed to blow it up. All this is available in “The Plot to Seize the White House” by Jules Archer. Includes cartoon from New York Times showing Butler kicking industrialists in the tail.

Is there a reason that there are different titles for each podcast between Blade of Perseus and the YouTube channel? Is it because of the affiliation with The Daily Signal?
Not a big deal, just makes it confusing to make sure which location has the latest podcast, since they’re not published simultaneously in both locations.
