  1. Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are coming to Washington, D.C. with many Johnny Inkslingers
In a year or so we will be able to take our grandchildren as Trump returns Washington, D. C. the Nation’s Capitol , rather than the national disgrace Biden and the Demolitioncrats have turned our beloved Capital City into.

Just a clarification regarding Mangione and his 3D printer, Victor, good 3D printers can be had for a couple hundred bucks. They have become quite reasonable and very popular among my fellow scale modelers. People can make improved parts for kits, or additional parts for super-detailing an off-the-shelf kit.
It’s also not necessary to buy one, to access one. There are centers for working with digital technology and education, called Fab Labs, that make such technology available to the average person. They are often affiliated with local colleges or universities. We have one here in Bethlehem, PA, that is affiliated with our county’s community college. It has a 3D drafting and printing lab, available to students taking courses, and to anyone else who enrolls and pays the fee. It’s sponsored by a local company that uses 3D-printing to make medical prosthetics for people who have lost limbs.
Not to say Mangione didn’t have a printer that cost a couple thousand dollars, because apparently he could have afforded it. But he may have had a decent printer for less.

Possible but not likely, given other facts, especially that he is a techie, and has the money. I can see that he would rather have printed it himself, and he can afford to.

  3. I just changed my log in name.
Can you please change it. I want to post a comment with my new name.

    Thank you

  4. AS A VDF FAN “‘TILL DEATH DO US PART” I NEVER MISS A PODCAST–AND LIKE COUNTLESS OTHERS CONSIDER HIM A DEAR FRIEND AND SOULMATE–THIS DESPITE THE FACT THAT WE’VE NEVER MET.

BUT AS AN OLD MOVIE BUFF, A PART OF THIS EPISODE REMINDED ME OF JERRY LEWIS IN HIS CLASSIC FILM “THE DISORDERLY ORDERLY.”

ONE SCENE IN THE MOVIE ESPECIALLY CAME TO MIND WITH VDH’S VERY LONG AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL SADO-MASOCHISTIC RIFF ON HIS MEDICAL-SURGICAL-HORROR STORIES.

IN IT THE BRILLIANT COMIC, WHO PLAYS THE PART OF A NEUROTIC ORDERLY TRYING TO ACHIEVE HIS LIFE’S AMBITION BY BECOMING A DOCTOR–THIS DESPITE HIS EXTREME PHOBIAS AGAINST ANYTHING BLOODY AND MEDICAL–GIVES HIMSELF “HIS FINAL EXAM.”

ASKING THE NEUROTIC, PRATTLING OLD WOMAN WHO LOVES TO TELL ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN IN THE MOST GROTESQUE DETAIL ABOUT HER MEDICAL HORROR STORIES, A
CRINGING, FRIGHTENED JERRY LEWIS FINALLY ASKS HER: “NOW PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT YOUR DRIPPING LIVER…”

  5. Mr. Obama was and is a Colossal Gas Bag who never has been able to fulfill his position as POTUS. A total Failure and a competitor for our worst POTUS

  6. In 1964, at he age of 28, I spent 9 months in the Saharan/Libyan Desert. I had heat stroke, heat exhaustion,& Amoebic Dysentery which lasted for 24 months. Had I not been in top shape I don’t think I would have made it-Greek and Egyptcian doctors using 1930s technology
