It is a historyless anachronism to think that democracy is “soft”. Democracy is originally “tough” (classical Athens), as its purpose was to eleminate stupidity and tyranny. Democracy is not an ideology, but based on knowledge, attitude, and a way to organize for reason. Today we need a democratic storylesson to save our society and the future.
