Listen to Victor Davis Hanson and cohost Jack Fowler examine the condition of Israeli hostages, protest mentality in the West, against the West, maids and nannies on Long Island, California regulation and black markets, Trump re-settling South African minorities, tribalism and DEI destroy prosperity and endanger lives, and regaining deterrence after the Biden years.
In my opinion, to equally bear the burden of the law is part of equal protection of the law. When you are subject to paying sales taxes, obtaining building permits, and making payments for your electricity, then your neighbor should also be subject to the burdens of these laws. If the government does not enforce the burden of these laws on your neighbor then you are not receiving equal protection of the laws. And if your neighbors are protected from the burdens of these laws, then that protection should be clearly established by law.
“..all this, protest mentality, I don’t know what the word is…”
The word is immaturity, Victor. Childishness. These people are overgrown adolescents, and when the world doesn’t fit their fantasy, they throw a tantrum.
