Join Victor Davis Hanson and cohost Sami Winc in the Friday news roundup: Kamala’s sincerity in question given radical policy changes, voter awareness, Wisconsin and Michigan leave RFK Jr. on ballots, Zuckerberg has “regrets,” and a look at Israel’s strategy.
Molly Ball recently wrote a fluff piece on Kamala Harris for the Wall Street Journal. When I wrote in the article comment section about her not being a disinterested party. I attached a link to the article and the WSJ censored my comment. I finally just added where a reader could find the link and got away with that. I guess I am trying to say that she is at it again and the WSJ is not the conservative paper people think it is.
Dear Professor Berger, the GOP is not the Conservative party some people assume it is. This is not an attack on you in any way shape, or form. It is just some comments I have, in general. You can observe where people stand by reading what they say and the documentary support they provide. If the best people can do is insult and make personal attacks on political opponents (no matter which party you favor), and their families, then that is a serious issue that reflects an inability to have civil discourse and is unlikely to be accepted by thinking people. The many election deniers and those who allege a deep state and a failure to accept the independence of our federal agencies, I offer the following: When you consider what is being said to you and you hear hoof-beats, look for a horse, not a zebra. For those anxious to insult me please understand that I was a lifelong Republican but could not accept the flurry of lies, insults, and lack of civil discourse.
Before he was Lucifer, Vance was “weird” until that descriptor proved to be such unavoidably apt description of Walz who looks like Soupy Sales doing an antic Mr. Bean impression.
This is a personal attack on someone whom I doubt you know well or whose reocord you have explored carefully. May I suggest that you go back and rewrite it and try to address Walz’ deficiencies other than what he cannot change, his looks.
Dear S please compare the two sentences and tell me which one you would take more seriously;
Before he was Lucifer, Vance was “weird” until that descriptor proved to be such unavoidably apt description of Walz who looks like Soupy Sales doing an antic Mr. Bean impression.
Walz has made comments about his military career that are not truthful. In addiiton, he failed to go with his troops when they were deployed to Afghanistan.
Which of the two deserves further consideration and will be taken more seriously.
For whatever, I think Walz’ 24 years of service were fine.
If all you will be able to do is to attack me personally, then you will be making my point.
Have a bless day! and I mean it.
Unrelated question. Why does your app not present itself in larger font? I don’t get to enjoy the content because the font is so small! Any insight?
Why not copy it to a reading App and change the font size there? Just a thought.
I sometimes think of Trump as the George Patton of Presidents — very effective, a strong ego, battered by most of the media, but exactly whom we need for a time such as this. Perhaps Victor has considered this analogy before? I’d love to know what he thinks …
