The Danger of Dumbing Down American Students

VDH and Jack continue their ranking of the “Sour 16” to determine which issues pose the greatest existential threat to the United States in 2026. We’ve now entered ROUND 2 of the bracket, the “Hate 8.” Here’s the list:

  • Rogue Nukes versus Ruin of Cities
  • Gain-of-Function bio-weapon pandemic versus Destruction of the nuclear family
  • Growth and spread of radical Islam versus Decline of factual education and knowledge
  • Growth of Irreligiosity and Secularism versus Emasculation of American men

  1. Victor,

How did your surgery go? I hope you’re recovering well and your prognosis is good. 🙏

Have you heard of the Liz Truss show? It’s part of John Solomon’s Just The News platform. She’s, of course, the former British Tory prime minister. If you have some free time while recouping check out today’s episode titled the House of Blair (episode 6). She interviews two excellent guests, journalist Tim Stanley and historian Dr. David Starkey, who both explain in detail how parliamentary sovereignty has been undermined since Blair’s government established so many unaccountable “QUANGOs” and other institutions. For example, the creation of the Supreme Court and limiting the power of the Lord Chancellor which contradicts the 1689 Bill of Rights preventing the courts from interfering with Parliament’s power. The problem is that subsequent Tory governments – Cameron, May, Johnson – have refused to take on the QUANGOs (Quasi Non Governmental Agencies) and the civil service and reclaim parliament’s sovereignty. Hopefully, if Reform win in 2029 they will do what is necessary to repeal much of Blair’s legislation and return power to the British people.
