In this episode Victor Davis Hanson and Jack Fowler discuss the implications of Trump’s proposal to increase Chinese student enrollment in American universities, including concerns about espionage and national security, the cultural and moral decline in Western societies, flag burning, the state of the Virginia gubernatorial race, and more.
Dear Dr. Hanson,
I always rely on your opinions as gospel however, I must disagree with your comments regarding Greece & Israel. I am a native born Italian American(3rd generation) married to a Turkish legal immigrant & have been to Turkey regularly in our 39year marriage. The Turks also proudly display their flag & many Greeks from nearby Islands in the south western Aegean & Mediterranean ferry to the farmers markets in Turkey. The Turks like the Greek people as they share many similarities. The Greek government is hostile to the Turks & the Turkish government under the dictator Erdogan is likewise hostile. As far as Israel is concerned , I don’t see how you see that government as tolerate of Christians & local Arab Muslims. There is less than 0.05 Christians left in the land that Jesus walked & died in.
Thank you for your time.
Christine
