In this episode, Victor Davis Hanson and cohost Jack Fowler discuss Pete Hegseth rethinking Mexico, Mark Halperin, no-strategy Democrats, “inseminated” persons, Harris for California governorship, Walz’s latest machinations, Stanford students identifying with killer Luigi Mangione, Bezos’s Op-Ed changes, and anti-Semitism still on campuses.
We agree with VDH’s comments on Mexico.
My father-in-law was baptized not long after his birth in 1910 by Venustiano Carranza.
I thought I would report that I am also on the VDH fitness bandwagon. The podcasts usually last about an hour and ten minutes so I have upped my time when I lift weights from 50 minutes to…whenever Jack or Sami and Victor say goodbye.
I had the pleasure of meeting Victor at a Hillsdale function some years ago and have become an avid fan, listener and reader of his books and columns. And he’s keeping my 72 year old body fit!
I keep watching the left looking for someone anyone that has not only a message but charisma. I know this seems shallow but they need to be better looking more common not the freak show they are put in front of the camera. Jefferies doesn’t have the look or ability when speaking to make you feel he has it.
Victor, you forgot to mention how the architect of Cuomo’s resignation was none other than Letitia James, who was eyeing a run for governor at the time. The conflict of interest was so obvious back then that even she had to back down and say that she wouldn’t be running for governor. But the episode clearly highlights how she has no trouble with conflicts of interest, and is clearly trying to build her brand so that she can at some point run for higher office.
I haven’t had a chance yet to see Victor’s headwear on the video version of his podcasts. I generally listen while I’m walking my dog. He’s pokey and likes to frequently sit down and watch for cars. I don’t mind because I’m listening to Victor, Jack, and Sami. The longer the walk takes, the longer I can enjoy listening to Victor’s judicious commentary, entertaining impersonations, and fascinating stories from his past. Thanks, Victor!
Excellent as always. So glad that there are still sane and clear-thinking leaders willing to share wisdom without hysterics and without being insulting and vitriolic. We need more of this today
