To reference a line of dialogue from a Sam Peckinpah movie Victor mentioned on this program (“Ride the High Country”),every time Victor finishes on of these podcasts, he is certainly entitled to “… Enter his house, justified…”

Spot on. Every single podcast is a pleasure to listen to and a lesson as well.
Moving on and speaking of classic western movies like Shane, the Searchers, Nevada Smith, etc., you know, the classic hero/tragic figure, regarding professor VDH’s recent nose/sinus issue, should the surgeon suggest wearing a shiny reflective nose guard like that of the bad gunfighter Tim Strawn, played by Lee Marvin in Cat Ballou, Jack might consider adapting the role of the gunfighter “Kid Shellen”, who literally in a demonstration his skill, could not hit the side of a barn to stop his bro.

Sami, Jack, Victor, It is my understanding that the Murdoch media assets were split amongst the sons with the liberal ones taking over the WSJ. I have had a subscription since business school in 1980. I did not renew in May when it was due. The news is unreadable. A sad day in publishing history. Thank you for your stimulating discussion and historical commentary. Every podcast is a delightful lesson. In addition, your support of Israel and the Jews is incalculable. You are among the righteous. Mitchell Guzik
