Listen in to the post-campaign debrief by Victor Davis Hanson and cohost Sami Winc: Harris’s concession speech, say goodbye to some celebrities, who’s celebrating Harris’s loss, Senatorial races and GOP in the House, and rethinking campaign strategy.
Larry Elder had a good theory about Kamala’s delay in giving her concession speech. He said that her staff couldn’t find a teleprompter, and that they were so distraught, they were too drunk to write one for her.
Sami, you’re off. Harris should not be a third-grade teacher. She shouldn’t work for anyone, public or private. She’s incompeten, and as Victor said in a previous podcast, she’s intellectually lazy. Anyone who hires her for any position with any level of responsibility is taking a very foolish risk.
Let her try it on her own, where she can do the least amount of damage to others.
Maybe she’ll grow up a little bit, emotionally and intellectually. Sixty isn’t too late, even for a waste like her.
The same people who say they are leaving the country because of the election of Donald Trump, said the same thing in 2016. I’m still waiting.
Mortified to consider Kamala for a position teaching 3d grade. She couldn’t hold a candle to Sister Ann McManus, O.S.U.! What a terrible idea!
I wasn’t aware that Harris won her DA position through the use of mail in voting chicanery in CA. Wouldn’t it be a great political move for Trump to put voter ID legislation on the table immediately (with the threat of an article 5 Convention). Put all politicians on the spot in 2025 and beyond.
CA, IL, NY etc. would lose their marbles which would be great for the USA.
God Bless Carol Harris 😇.
A thought exercise: Would the liberal politicos and talking heads bemoan Racism and Misogyny if a black woman ran for president on the Republican side? Would they expect all women and blacks to vote for that person?
I believe what Harris and Pelosi are frustrated with is the timing of the elections. Rumor has it that Biden was to secure a second term, then step down and allow his VP(Harris)to assume the Presidency. No fuss, no muss, perfectly legal – and the world event would be celebrated as the first woman president/woman of color to break the glass ceiling. Unfortunately, the Democrats failed to plan around the independent variable, which hit them in the face as they plotted their coup. That independent variable was the American People, or what was known back then as the “American League of Justice” in the late 1960-early 1970s. The silent majority then and now flexed its muscle and delivered a powerful punch to the DNC gut, and by its own accord-it is culturally diverse in a natural manner of human dimensions.
Coups are inherently unstable and often results in the participants failing, then turning on one another – for coups are born of ambition, greed, notoriety, not moral principles. The Democratic leadership is lucky-had the political turned into a revolution, the leadership of the Democratic Party would have been swept away replaced by more cynical and plotting groups both national and international and engaged in civil unrest and poverty for decades.
Coups led by hedonists and the addicted with a powerful and pathological persecution complex, who want to live out their paranoid fantasies and vindications usually end defined as a dictatorship akin to Big Daddy Amin.
What are the states that enacted laws to give their electoral votes to the candidate that won the national popular vote going to do in January?
