I fear what the lame duck last months of Biden will be after a Trump victory as the Dems have demonstrated these past 4 years that they would rather destroy the nation then accept a stoic, honorable defeat. Visions of a malicious scorched earth policy by a defeated Third Reich come to my mind.
After the Great Train Wreck of 2023, Pres. Trump came to East Palestine, Ohio. He gave a good political speech at the Fire Station, and donated pallets of bottled water. He then treated the news media to coffee at the local McDonalds. However, when Pres. Biden came to East Palestine, he waited until this year, an election year. I guess he even talked to a couple of citizens. Even Mr. Kennedy made an appearance in East Palestine. Although, I don’t know if he talked to anyone. However, we have not seen hide nor hair of the Vice President. I guess we can have the town sing all of the music from “Li’l Abner”. Perhaps the Vice President would sing along with “The Country is in the very best of hands!”
I don’t think that it is a bad idea for President Trump to hold a rally in Madison Square Garden because:
1. It will get national attention and coverage, so his comments will be broadcast nationally; and
2. There are House candidates and state office candidates from N.Y. and surrounding states who may benefit from his rally.
Also, it shows the nation that he is not afraid and will go anywhere;
Gazan Arabs, and the Arabs in Southern Lebanon, might hate Hamas and Hezbollah respectively, but not enough to overthrow them. And should both terrorist organizations be utterly destroyed and those areas freed of their regimes, that doesn’t mean we’d see a free and democratic government replace them. They’d still most likely wind up with an authoritarian regime and hate the Jews and Israel.

I read your post to my husband. He said “they haven’t seen hide nor ‘Hair-ris’ of the VP.” Lol.

Giuliani wasn’t running for mayor.Michael Bloomberg was mayor at the time.

You mentioned the 60 minutes interview but you left out how they changed Kamala’s answer. That was, I think the biggest part of the interview.
