From Profanity-Chic to Terrorist-Porn

American Greatness

The Democratic Party is polling about 27 percent approval—and sinking.

In 2024, it lost the White House, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and both the popular vote and the Electoral College, 312-226.

In 2024, Trump won over 46 percent of the Hispanic vote, including a majority of Hispanic men. Trump also likely captured 26 percent of the black male vote, doubling his 2020 total.

In 2024, Trump increased his 2020 vote total in every single state. And he won 89 percent of all the counties in the United States.

On every issue, Democrats sided with strident leftist movements rather than the majority of Americans.

They supported globalism over nationalism, high-priced green energy over lower gas and electricity prices, and an open border and 12 million unaudited illegal aliens over security and legal-only immigration.

They seem unconcerned with our $36 trillion debt or the deterrence lost abroad that led to two theater-wide existential wars.

Democrats stay mum about unfair trade and budget deficits. They prefer the Black Lives Matter fixation on the color of our skin rather than Martin Luther King’s emphasis on the content of our character.

They support allowing biological men to overpower women in female sports events—in opposition to 80 percent of the electorate.

Democrats faced choices after their catastrophic defeat last year.

One, they could have stopped the hemorrhaging of their base of 18-30-year-olds, black men, Hispanics, and Independents by moving toward the center.

They even could have worked with Trump and perhaps sought to take credit for joint successes.

Instead, they doubled down on “resistance” through street-theater terror-chic.

Democrat senators cut a group attack video, each echoing the potty word “sh*t.”

In a House ad, Democratic female members mimicked ninjas, kicking and punching at the camera, as if hitting their Republican opponents.

Former vice presidential candidate and Minnesota governor Tim Walz boasts about kicking the “ass” of Republicans.

“Assh*ole” is now the standard Democrat epithet for Musk, as voiced by Sen. Mark Kelly. “D*ck” is the preferred Musk slur from Sen. Tina Smith.

Xenophobia is also now Democratic chic.

Walz smears Musk, an American citizen, as a “South African nepo baby.”

Other Democrat representatives question Musk’s loyalty, asking, “Which country is he [Musk] loyal to?”

Or they further boast, “We’re [Democrats] going to send Elon back to South Africa.”

An unhinged Rep. Maxine Waters shouts that she wants First Lady Melania Trump deported, given she too is a naturalized citizen.

But those theatrics have now escalated into near overt support for violence.

Democrats are blocking the deportation of dangerous illegal aliens affiliated with the terrorist-designated Tren de Aragua.

They try to stop the deportation of resident alien Mahmoud Khalil—arch Hamas supporter, apologist for the murderers of October 7, and a spokesman for the most violent student group at Columbia.

To stop Elon Musk’s advisory Department of Government Efficiency and its identification of government waste, fraud, and abuse, leftist cabals are now terrorizing Musk’s Tesla brand nationwide.

They seek to destroy cars, dealerships, and charging stations. Individual Tesla owners are sometimes tailed, confronted, and threatened.

Democrats claim no formal role in such terror—but more or less seem to approve of its ends and means.

Left-wing comic Jimmy Kimmel winks and nods on national television about the current violent Tesla terrorist campaign.

Tim Walz celebrates the resulting drop in the Tesla stock price. As Minnesota’s governor overseeing his state’s sizable investment in Tesla, Walz could care less about trash-talking his own taxpayers’ investments.

Rep. Jasmine Crockett boasts that Musk “must be taken down.”

She brags she wants to physically assault Sen. Ted Cruz, who “has to be knocked over the head, like hard”—adding “I think you punch, I think you [sic] OK with punching.”

Crockett even mocked disabled and wheelchair-bound Texas governor Greg Abbott: “You all know we got Gov. Hot Wheels down there. … And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot-ass mess, honey.”

Former Democratic House member and once-censured Rep. Jamaal Bowman claimed Musk was a “Nazi” and an “incompetent thief.”

Democrat Rep. Al Green was censured by the House for disrupting the Trump joint address to Congress—and led away screaming and shaking his cane at the President in failed efforts to shut down the speech.

Senator minority leader Chuck Schumer, who once issued threats to Supreme Court justices Neal Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh by name, now boasts, “We have people going to the Republican districts and going after these Republicans who are voting for this and forcing them to either change their vote or face the consequences.”

Furious at their own increasing impotence, these contemporary Democrat Jacobins are dabbling with their own version of a reign of smut terror.

They are probably too impotent to derail the country, but they are certainly destroying themselves.

  1. VDH,

Make no mistake, every Democrat has been indoctrinated into the political beliefs you speak about.
They believe that they own the US Government because they have been in power for so long.
They go hunting for radical Trump hating district court judges because they know they can delay the Trump agenda.
They will always follow the same playbook because it has been working for 70 years.
They know the Republicans do not stick together, so they take full advantage of that.
They know that since Gore v Bush the US Supreme Court shys away from election and serious political issues.
The Supreme Court has to much power, they should not be counted on to stop this District Court Judge.
Congress needs to get laws on the the books immediately to stop the nonsense, but of course that is common sense and common sense is lacking in USA.
The Democratic Party hurts, delays, and challenges every common sense agenda because they can.
It would be refreshing if they reflexively stop opposing everything just because they can.

  2. The problem the Left has: no place to go.

If Trump is pushing several 80-20 issues, how do you protest without losing more support?

If the Republicans are clearly the party of common sense, then what are the Democrats?

If you like the fact that the border is finally closed shut, how can you support ANYTHING that “Joe Biden” did?

If you decide to be more “moderate”, what will be your rallying cry? “We like what Trump is doing but our party is 15 degrees to the left of him”. Yet your party did all the terrible things that Trump is fixing.

    Nowhere to go.

Democrats have no real focused opposition to counter with. Their pusillanimous rhetoric, recent profanity inserts, and badly made videos makes the democrats look desperate. I say let them continue that look.

  4. We are all fighting the good fight. When they invent real secure computer systems for the White House, they will not contain Microsoft Windows or Google Cloud. These systems all have “back doors” loaded on them.

  5. The people will and are getting tired of the dems continuing hateful rhetoric, this is another failed attempt to escalate hate speech that they think will appeal to the democratic base.
Even the left is getting tired of this, it showed in the last election, they are fragmenting, and to their detriment there quite possibly will be a third party breaking off from the democratic party.
And when that happens, they will never win another election.

  6. We are in the midst of a “soft” civil war that appears to be escalating with every Trump success….

  7. I keep asking myself how can anyone construe the words and actions of Democrat leaders and other politicians as anything but a call to assassinate Trump and his supporters? They’ve literally been stoking violence against Trump since 2016 and the media is totally fine with it and tacitly supports it.

  8. Ronnie Phillips

Their pusillanimous rhetoric, recent profanity inserts, and badly made videos makes the democrats look desperate. I say let them double down on that desperation.

  9. It is my hope that on the issues that President Trump ran on during his campaign and his concerted efforts to affect their implementation will not go unnoticed. Namely, a secure border. The deportation of violent criminals that entered our country illegally. A government that is accountable for its spending. A negotiated peace between Russia and Ukraine. Economic policies that no longer subordinate America’s interests to those of other countries. Secure elections. These appear to have universal support by the majority of Americans. Yet we still have to contend with hate, and the enemies within our own government, and those who empower them.

I posted a comment this morning about being tired of Republicans telling Democrats how they can be more effective. Saw it on line….now its gone. What’s up? Longtime subscriber

  11. As an Independent, who votes mostly along Republican lines, I see the Democrat Party continuing to fail. I would hope that there would be some moderate, sane voices rise from the ashes of that party, but as time progresses I doubt it will happen. I believe a two party system is good for our Country, but the level to which the Dems have sunk appears to make that a reasonable expectation. When House/Senate reps such as Kelly, Crockett, Green, Waters, Schummer, et al are the voices of this cabal, we should let them fail. 2028 will be here before we know it and we can use as much assistance as possible in retaining all three branches of the government for the good of the Country and our citizens.

  12. Dear Dr Hansen – I think you are the greatest and I buy your books, subscribe to your website and can’t wait for your next podcast. So it is with the utmost respect that I implore you to please use “I could NOT care less ” rather than ” I could care less”. It might make the precise reader think “how much less COULD you cere”
    Kindest regards.

  13. So when does the revolution start and how many insane lefties will man the barricades ? Oh noes, I used the word ‘man’ . I must be a sexist and transphobic.

    1. thebaron@enter.net

They are too afraid of the radicals, of being called racist, bigoted, homophobic, Islamophobic, and so on.
That is the tactic the radicals use, because they can’t win arguments.
      Call names.
And when that doesn’t work, threaten violence, or escalate to real violence.
      That is their tactic.
And the old-school Democrat, who probably shares values like patriotism, faith, family, with us conservatives, is afraid to be their target.
So I don’t expect the moderate and sensible Democrats to come to the front.

  14. It’s likely going to get a lot worse before it gets better. Democrats seem to be headed for more “mainly peaceful protests”. As Bob Dylan wrote “ when you ain’t got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose”. Different context but totally valid for the state of the Democrat Party today.

  15. Democrats are digging their own grave so let them. In my opinion they are evil puppets doing Satan’s bidding. God has saved our country once again and we owe him everything. Judgement day will come for all of us and thankfully none of us are that Judge. I continue to pray for those of you brainwashed by Trump Derangement Syndrome and now you have also acquired Elon Derangement Syndrome. May God heal your afflictions and open your minds.

  16. James Howard Sherrard

I can’t understand why the Republicans are so interested in trying to assist the Democrats to become a better party. Is it just another play on words to make them look worse, or is there sincerity in helping them to win seats in the next two years? Republicans, we need to get down to governing and effecting change in the next 2 years, or we will surely find the Dems trying to help us in 2026 and beyond. If countries could be built and maintained on great orations, the United States would certainly be one.

  17. We are just one internal terrorist attack from the complete burying of the democrat party.
I hope it doesn’t happen, but keep in mind, it only took 21 terrorists to cause 9-11. We have millions of unvetted people within our borders now. They would love nothing more than to wreck the “Golden Age” that Team Trump wants to deliver to the US. Unfortunately, such an attack would affect the entire US, not just the democrats.
This is precipice that the democrats have brought to our nation. Treasonous.

  18. Democrats lend credence to the old saying, “Never feel useless; you can always be used as a bad example”.

  19. Proverbs 29:9 If a wise man has an argument with a fool,
the fool only rages and laughs, and there is no quiet.

Proverbs 22:10 Drive out a scoffer, and strife will go out,
and quarrelling and abuse will cease.

  20. Shirley B Gohner

I’m getting tired of hearing Republicans tell Democrats what they should do to be more successful.

  21. The Democrats cannot destroy their party soon enough, in my simple view. No Democrat has done anything for me or my family for decades. Enough is enough.

  22. They have thrown around Hitler and Nazi so often that the words are starting to lose their meaning. This is sad as it will cause the rising generation to not understand what true evil those names represented to previous generations.

  23. Colonel Sean Killeen (USMC-Ret)

    Mr. Hanson,
The Left is quite consistent in their tactics and faithful adherence to Saul Alynsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” – but to what end?
Many activists on the left do not understand the end-game, they are mere useful idiots manipulated by the few to swell the ranks. The end goal is the destruction of America as a global power – since the US is the last hope for the West who can keep the CCP in check.
The CCP Shang-Hai’ed the remnants of Russia’s COMINTERN in the US / EU and repurposed this formidable group of influential megalomaniacs to systematically attack foundational elements of our societies – energy, food production, higher education, stable communities, churches and families.
China’s program of Asymmetrical Warfare, also referred to as Political Warfare, grew from a paper authored by two CCP Colonels in 1999. Their analysis was brilliantly evil and expertly implemented by a ruthless Communist Party whose decades of vicious suppression is designed fo grab and consolidate power in the hands of the few.
Their Communist Cousins in the West are attempting to “get in on the game,” without understanding the basic tenets of CCP rule – the powerful do not share power.
While weakening the West, they hasten their own brutal demise at the hands of a regime whose roots are soaked in blood.
In the US, we have suffered more Fentanyl casualties than all the wars since the Civil War – combined. Just one vector in the CCP’s War on the West.
