On education: I received a BSE EE from the UMich in 1959. My dad, who was in the skilled trades at a Fisher Body plant, couldn’t believe I didn’t know anything about the National Electrical Code. ‘Were not even educated on how to wire a 3-way switch. I’ve learned a little since then.
