In many of our towns there is a loss of community and no sense of belonging. This is a result of the massive influx of transplants into our towns. The new residents often have no sense of pride for the place they now call home, and they have no vested interest in the future of that community. Many of us grew up in a time where there was the expectation to care for and help those in need, and watching out for one another. From grade school through post secondary education, we were to always respect our teachers and classmates, and follow the rules or risk suspension/expulsion. The events you described in you daily routine are unfortunately becoming more common place. Thank you for another great podcast. Blessings to both of you.
I agree. The incursions into our border in the 80’s, and now, have been excessive and unneeded. There is a difference between allowing some careful diversity that is enlightening and can be incorporated; and that which changes the essence of a culture; the face of our country.

When you describe your trip to TOWN, and driving along the country roads, it
does sound third world horrible! People with NOTHING invested take no pride in
their (former) beautiful surroundings. Living in southwest Iowa we are far less
populated and continue to enjoy a beautiful landscape.
Also, I wonder where all the TANKS are manufactured that we “give away”?

I really enjoy the discussions between Victor/Jack and Victor/Sami. I also read everything Victor writes. So far I have found no disagreement with common sense, and I love the history lesson in every podcast! Thank you!
