What else should conservatives do to prevent another leftwing tsunami in 2024?
3. Match leftwing Super PACs like Vote Blue that focus on millions of smaller donors and outraise their conservative counterparts. The Left has the wealthy and the poor, but not the middle class. There are far more potential conservative American $10-$200 donors than those leftwing, but so far they are not giving at levels that match Vote Blue.
4. Require all Republican presidential declared candidates right now to swear to support the eventual presidential nominee. Ostracize any who will not or who break their word and do not. A third-party conservative candidate would ensure four more years of hyper-left Bidenists. It would be a smart thing now for DeSantis, down in the polls, to pledge to support the candidate, given it would not look self-interested. And should he surge, then Trump, who would probably agree to such a pledge now on the assumption he will win the nomination, would find it difficult to launch a third-party or sulk away, especially given those who pledged to back the winner in 2016, broke their oaths to the nominee Trump.
5. Warn the FBI, DOJ, and CIA not to interfere in the election as they did in 2016 and, in the case of the FBI, did that again in 2020 with Hunter’s laptop. (Yes, I know, reader, they already have this morning by indicting Trump.)
Take away the fantasy Operation Crossfire, and Trump would likely have won the popular vote and had a far more successful presidency. Take away the FBI’s suppression of the laptop, and Trump might have at least won the Electoral College in 2020.
State in advance that the elites of these Washingtonian-centric agencies will be held feloniously accountable should they be found to be aligning with oppositional researchers, hiring social media “misinformation” contractors, or opportunistically leaking investigatory information (especially note that we will hear all sorts of coordinated rumors of “walls are closing in” and “bombshell” revelations leaking from the offices of Mr. Bragg, Ms. James, Ms. Willis, and Mr. Smith from now to November 2024).
6. Reclaim the language. “Undocumented immigrant” is a deliberately cruel euphemism designed to mask the damage that 6-7 million illegal alien entries do to: 1) the aspirations of law-abiding, would-be legal immigrants waiting in line and in vain for years; 2) communities of the poor and middle class, whose citizens’ access to ERs, dialysis clinics, and health, education, legal, food, and housing services is buried under millions of new illegal claimants; and 3) innocent citizens who will be harmed or killed by hundreds if not thousands of criminals who enter among the 6-7 million without audit or background checks.
Push back against racist language. There is no such thing as a “theme house,” a euphemism for a racially segregated dorm. “Safe spaces” are racially segregated campus lounges.
“Transgendered” is a sloppy word that collapses prior accurate and descriptive terms for various rare fetishes and gender dysphorias.
Transvestites can often be heterosexual who find gratification in dressing up in the clothes of the opposite sex.
Transexuals are those rare people whose physical sexuality does not match their own mental sense of sex and thus undergo radical surgeries and hormone treatments to become permanently the opposite sex.
Drag refers usually to male homosexuals, usually those who prefer to be passive partners and are feminized, and whose female dress is an extension of their own more feminine variant of homosexuality.
Transgendered is a new term, but in actuality it simply represents “fluidity” or the fashion of from time to time identifying with the opposite sex but does not usually entail the complete and final transition to the opposite sex entailed by radical surgery and a battery of hormonal drugs.
Keep in mind until the craze of the last five years ago, gender dysphoria or true transsexuality was quite rare, documented at between 10-40 per 100,000 people. Recent polls that claim 5,000 out of 100,000 young people are transgender more likely represent something akin to the pet-rock, hula-hoop, or Duncan Yo-Yo mass consumer hysterias.
Anytime some talking-head or politician (cf. Joe Biden and his legions of demagogues) talks in racialist generalities and crude stereotypes (e.g.,“white” rage/supremacy/privilege is our greatest challenge/threat/danger), Americans must label these hate mongers for what they are, “racists” who collectivize individuals into some supposedly nameless, faceless collectivist demonic army.
So people who flippantly use the collective “white,” as a stereotype and always in the pejorative sense, are thus racists, and need to be called out as racists.
Ask for proof of “white” rage or supremacy. Is it found in the data of hate crimes?
So-called whites are unrepresented. Do not believe the media fixation on rare white on black crime and its strained efforts to ignore more frequent black on white crime.
There are no white on black-pandemics of interracial crimes.
In truth, whites are up to six to ten times, depending on the crime, more likely to be a victim of an interracial crime than to commit one.
How about promoting wars overseas while having marginalized peoples doing the dying?
That was a lie in Vietnam, and certainly not true in both recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, In both, so-called white males died in combat at double their numbers in the general population. Was that fact “racist”?

Dear Dr. Hanson: I think the actual definition of the "American Dream" is correctly stated well by Mr. Brookings in the previous comment, as "just wanting to be left alone!" Is that not the over-arching history of this nation. People leaving Europe for predominantly religious freedom and continuing the westward migration away from civilization to get a "new beginning." In other words, they were looking for freedom from the oppression of the elites of that day. There is now nowhere else to go! Now, the elites of this day, wish to impose the same old tired oppressions, simply renamed vices combined with a dose of guilt, upon those who just wish to be left alone. I think the left's biggest fear is the known historical reaction to those wanting to be left alone realizing that the leftist elites will not do so! My prayer is that when/if that day comes, the leaders of the revolt will be mostly honorable and moral people seeking the blessings of the Almighty as at the founding of this nation.

Conservatives are generally, I believe, people who just want to be left alone so that they can work, take care of their families and enjoy the life that they have been blessed with. You correctly point out that true American conservatives must develop vibrant, well thought out strategies to counter the deceitful actions of our marxist political left. The marxist left is so frequently “outraged “ by design. You correctly show that the evolution of Conservative “outrage” has real political and practical value as well. Our amazing United States Constitution, which is under assault by marxists and other wannabe revisionists, must be the bedrock of Conservative action.
