Not surprisingly, the first post-racial president couldn’t resist sticking his oar in about Ferguson: “We’re [insert identity here] frustrated, but try to keep your protests peaceful.”

Every aristocracy decays over time. The Progressives ascended around 1913, so it took them a little less than a century to reach the giggling idiots in powdered wigs and facepaint stage. The question is who is to replace them?

The political class is becoming more and more separate from the people they are meant to represent. Separate, self selecting and contemptuous. This is causing the very functioning of democracy to misfire as the voters will is openly bypassed and overruled by the permanent ruling groups, interchangeable bureaucrats and judges and appointees.

He has referenced his own talent by bragging, “Just give me the ball,” or, “I’m LeBron, baby.” In 2008, he bragged to an interviewer, “I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m going to think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

That same sense of superiority explains his campaign boast that, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”

Seems like the exact same attitude of a chap from recent history that was born Schickelgruber but went around as Hitler…he,too, was arrogant and knew better than everyone else…we know how that story worked out (or not) for the world…eventually this ignoramus will end upo the same way, but hopefully he won’t take the entire country with him…History tells us that jerks like he wind up buried in the trash heap of history

  6. Very good article… Thanks!

  7. The majority of Americans no longer have skin in the game.

  8. I wish I could comment, but because I voted I’m too darned stupid to understand, except when my elected officials tell me to bend over and grab my ankles
