About $40 million and 22 months later, after the birth of the “Russian collusion” special counsel, Robert Mueller shrugged that he found no proof of “collusion.” No matter, James Clapper still claimed that Donald Trump was a veritable “Russian asset,” despite being tougher on Vladimir Putin than both the Bush and Obama aggregate sixteen years of dealing with the Russians. Again, no apologies, no retractions—only on to the next great melodramatic lie.
It came a couple of years later, on the eve of the 2020 election. One of Hunter Biden’s multiple wayward laptops (the Biden family has a bad habit of losing lurid computers, incriminating personal diaries, fraudulently registered guns, and misplaced crack pipes) turned up unclaimed, and apparently legally forfeited, at a repair shop.
Almost immediately the American public knew it was authentic because 1) they had heard something of the nature of Hunter’s addictions and habits, 2) Tony Bobulinksi, a Hunter associate, had confirmed emails on the laptop from him were genuine, 3) the repairman was candid and transparent and produced a copy of a receipt given to Hunter Biden, and 4) the media and social media were smothering the story (apparently on the prompt or pay in some cases from the FBI and “another government agency”).
No matter. It was important that in the forthcoming debate Joe Biden could reassure the American public that his family was not, as implied in the laptop messages, a veritable quid pro quo syndicate that shook down foreign governments on the assumption Joe Biden someday would be again in a position to make their investments in him worthwhile. We dumb Americans assumed the laptop was real, while “51” former intelligence authorities were lying given their loathing of Donald Trump.
Finally, we arrive at the latest untruth. We are supposed to believe that prosecutors Letitia James, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, and Jack Smith are not indicting or about to indict Donald Trump out of political spite.
We are supposed to trust as well that E. Jean Carroll, a former sex-advice columnist, was raped by Donald Trump more than a quarter century ago but cannot remember the year in which the assault took place and has been coming forward since 2020 only because the three-decade torment finally overwhelmed her (at an opportune time) and she was defamed by Donald Trump in his denials.
Perhaps, but if so, Tara Reade, a former Biden staffer, who claims she was digitally penetrated thirty years ago by the current president of the United States, seems either as lucid or unbelievable as does Ms. Carroll.
But whereas Reade’s accusations surfaced during the #MeToo moment and were earlier voiced by her mother in a radio show call at about the same time as the alleged assault, Reade’s confusions were written off as nutty in a fashion Carroll’s were not (read the first three paragraphs of the respective Wikipedia bio entries on Ms. Carroll and Ms. Reade, compare, and see if there is a bias).
In such a make-believe world we are asked to believe Alvin Bragg routinely ferrets out politicians, charges them with sloppy book-keeping infractions beyond the statute of limitations, and ups the indictments to federal felonies of campaign finance fraud, about which he has no jurisdiction.
So too Letitia James frequently peruses the books of New York’s real estate moguls to spot properties, whose values they sort of, kind of optimistically inflate to increase paper net worth. Yet she rarely finds such fibbers except Donald Trump.
And Fani Willis would have us believe that Donald Trump is the only losing candidate who called up a registrar and whined about the unfair vote counting and in exasperation that he needed in extremis to find a few thousand votes that he was convinced were fraudulent—a phone call that had zero consequence in his losing bid to win Georgia.
And we are to believe that no other president or vice president has taken classified documents out of the White House upon retirement, kept them in unofficial, if not unsecured places, and occasionally argued with archivists whether letters addressed to him, or memos he wrote were always the government or sometimes his own.
Do they still think we are stupid? Cannot the liars just admit,
“We hate Trump’s guts and those who voted or considered voting for him. And unfortunately for you we are in power, and so we can do and will do as we damn well please. You, the moronic are hopeless and gullible and we need to be and will be protected against you. So what you call ‘lies’ are heroic and noble efforts by your moral and intellectual superiors to save your own country from the likes of you. Get it?”

Having watched our Prime Minister Trudeau slither his way to fame and fortune, with his handlers deflecting every scandal from blackface to sexual harassment to dismissing female cabinet ministers, I’m convinced that the average citizen just doesn’t care. Voters pick their candidate and stand by them no matter what. Consequences be damned. It’s like the old joke: If I didn’t love Fords, I wouldn’t have owned seven of them!
Amen.
It’s a fine line to walk between academic, opinion writer, patriot, provocateur, spiritual leader, realist, historian, father, son and pissed off California farmer. I guess the answer is to keep on writing. It’s the connection with others that matters. Else, why bother? Most of us wake up every day with that question in mind. There is a purpose, and that purpose is to find the truth and enlighten others about that precious discovery. Then they can pass it along. Otherwise there is only darkness, despair and capitulation. Not on my watch.
1. We don’t know what to do but our eyes are on You (God). 2. The battle belongs to Him (God). 3. Go down to meet them (the enemies) and take your stand: sing and praise the LORD. 4. God will fight the battle, and the enemies will destroy themselves in the chaos. 5. Remember …
2 Chronicles 20:14-17 AMP Then in the midst of the assembly the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph. [15] He said, "Listen carefully, all [you people of] Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. The LORD says this to you: 'Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's. [16] Go down against them tomorrow. Behold, they will come up by the ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the river valley, in front of the Wilderness of Jeruel. [17] You need not fight in this battle; take your positions, stand and witness the salvation of the LORD who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the LORD is with you.'"
2 Chronicles 20:12 AMP O our God, will You not judge them? For we are powerless against this great multitude which is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You."
The overall question is: "Are our Intelligence agencies directing these lies as a strategy to quiet Trump forever?"
The Intelligence Community--appraised to be some of the most competent and intelligent people in government--considers president Trump a "Russian asset" because he poses an existential threat to THEIR perceived loyalty to "THE COUNTRY." The people working in the Intelligence Community, especially those in the higher echelons, are privy to the highest and most secret goings-on among world leaders and their nations. They protect, and covet egoistically, this Top Secret information and only release it sparingly and with great discretion. In short, they do not trust President Trump with this level of information. Probably because a personality analysis has been made on him. They determined President Trump is a high enough risk to USE Top Secret information for his personal foreign affairs policies, thereby assisting Russia to benefit from his revelations. Yes, it's this bad. Undoubtedly the Intelligence Community withheld Top Secret information from him, regardless of his being The President of The United States. Bank on it.
Victor, I'm liking the saltiness that has been coming out in your writings and podcasts! Might we be seeing glimpses of the Father you so often speak about and we as your listeners and followers have come to know and love? I've seen a change and love it..... God Bless you and the family. Joel
You left out "deplorable."
This insanity won't end until clear-thinking Americans quit worrying about being called names and begin pushing back against these radical Leftists. I detest their tactics, but apparently fighting fire with fire is our most effective response. We've seen how they whine when the tables are turned, so they obviously know their tactics work. If there's a better option, I'm all for it. Just a personal pet peeve, but could we please quit calling these Leftists / Marxists "liberals" and "progressives"? They are the antithesis of those words, but those words sound really nice to the "low information voter' ; compliments of the late great Rush Limbaugh.
Gullible? Or simply ignorant of all things political? Allergic to labor, especially mental? Don’t worry your pretty little head. We’ll take care of you. Just Vote Democrat. Our elites are the best, the most beautiful, and the richest thanks to your devotion and discrete subsidies from the CCP. Join us Dems and be a winner; we win regardless of the odds or the rules.
