Please explain in your own words an answer to the following: What is it within in our system of nominating candidates, why it comes down to (for example) Cuomo vs Mamdani? In a city of 8 million people, or whatever, how is it that our system of politics has broken down to where we must choose only between a bad candidate or a worse candidate. We need a better and more honest system of guaranteeing good viable candidates for elected office.
