Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

The moment a group decides that the ends justify the means, this is what happens.

"Proper liberal credentials trump all the usual forms of identity politics." Power trumps all the *rationalizations* for power. Identity politics is simply mumbo jumbo masking the usual spoils political masters throw to their vassals in return for their support.

WELLLL, The leadership of the "dummacratic potty" will make an independent out of you yet! Or (horror of horrors!) a republican! Unless you can lead them to the straight and narrow from within.

When speaking about vacations-whether it's luxury resorts or the home "ranch, the big expense is the security-both in travel &!all the details Baby Bush tok many more vacations Han Obama. Republicans in similar post-- Mayor, Governor, etc-take the same vacations & often plan overseas destinations for some faux event. Presidents need time-off like all workers. Blow up this charade of facts because it's like a fort in the wind!

For self-enrichment every trick conspire Graft with corruption nor for vote require Purport their whims and evils bid caprice Impose wild equilibrium of excess Made norm behavior deemed unfortunate Seeds of your failure grown formidable Secured advantaged truth manipulate Ring hallow through perverted Golden Rule: Whoever holds the gold should such rules make, Whoever makes the rules should much gold take.

laughing. "power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." acton. (one may simply substitute privilege for power, and be right on the beam.) we've seen this before. it was called "aristocracy." once we weren't an aristocracy, and now we are: it will take a while to figure out what is appropriate for the aristocrats, and what is not. personally, i believe jefferson had it about right. "the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time w/ the blood of patriots and of tyrants." such a process tends to keep persons a bit more honest. john jay

Dr. Hanson, your closing comment suggests you are getting much closer to the core of the problem. I am an academic also,(Berkeley) which means in my younger years I was an apostate Catholic (of course) and later came to see the emptiness of the Democratic Socialism I took as a substitute. I returned to the Church. Nonetheless, while some of my peers who can understand my abandonment of the idiocy of collectivism, cannot understand why I agree with Tolkien, that is there is Evil in the world, and it is not simply human ignorance but aided and abetted by our Enemy. We can fight it materially with material weapons but, to win, even over the short run, demands we use the immaterial weapons we can only gain by adherence to and love for, the Creator of the universe.
