Listening to Victor’s historical accounts and analysis is such a pleasure and learning experience for me that I hold these moments as unique and dear to my heart. His accounts on the war planes of World War II was not only fascinating but also one of those planes that he mentioned (the DC-3) brought many memories for me. In 1964 my mother was a stewardess for AVIANCA airlines in Colombia, South America, and on many occasions she would take me to many trips around the country (at that time this was allowed) I was 10 years old, and my first trip that I took was to the Amazons! And the plane was a DC-3 I remember the plane so well with two engines and the inside was made of wood! I remember flying and Landing in the Amazons in the village of Leticia. There was just this dirt runway and as you landed you could see small shacks at the sides of the landing strip. The plane seemed and felt very solid. I have never forgot that experience (that was 61 years ago) thank you Victor, you bring joy to my heart, memories and learning

By the way, slight correction to your comment yesterday about Ana Kasparian - she is NO comedian(enne)!! She is the sidekick of Cenk Uyger’s of The Young Turks. Yes, you read correctly, an Armenian is the cohost with a proud Turk that denies the Armenian genocide committed by the Turks. Now can you see why she hates Israel and the Jeeeeeewwws… and wouldn’t dare wear that drop neck mini dress in Tel Aviv, that would get her stoned by both men and women alike in all those wonderful (sh@thole) countries that she loves so much?! Why couldn’t those damned Jews be as dirt poor as the (non oil producing) Arabs? If they were, we probably wouldn’t hate them as much (probably not, everybody always finds a reason to hate the Jews) But, the fact that they are more innovative, emphasize knowledge and know-how, and value life, that they are a hated breed throughout the course of history, which is unlikely to change much in the future. It’s not even a left or right issue, Israel is one of the few countries where communism (in Kibbutzim - plural of kibbutz) is (somewhat) successful, and people are not clamoring to leave (if they’re not being overrun and killed by those noble 7th century barbarians).
