We can call "identity politics" what it is, a Maoist "cultural revolution." Instead of red vs. black, it's white vs. everything else, or "trans" vs. anything status quo. They're all prongs in the attack. They're provoking the right to violence because that's what they need so they can claim "self defense" from "those violent rightists."
