Dear Dean Ottinger,
I did not say cheering on the floods, but rather in a cheap fashion, many on the Left were politicizing the flood for political advantage or out of spite.
So, you receive a 5 on the Angry Reader Scale, given that you are promoting an “amoral lie.” As I said, there are lots of reports of leftists who used the Texas floods to blame and/or to leverage the tragedy for political purposes. I don’t know you, so I had no reason to think you were “better than this.”
And I don’t expect an apology for your “amoral lie.”
As for your statement, “Lots of good American patriots are waking up to see that Don Trump is a con man from the word go.” Perhaps—but I am not sure how you define “lots” or “waking up.”
If we look at 2-3 polls that were the most accurate in 2024, they have Trump with a plus favorability rating. The Rasmussen October 10, 2025, daily tracking poll (one of the most accurate in 2024) had Trump at “Total Approve”: 51%/”Total Disapprove”: 47%.

As always, brilliant retort to the AR.
The real racism, antisemitism and hatred have found their roost on the left. It used to be a rarity when they would come right out and spew their venom so openly. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Some of the comments by Sade Perkins (and others in the links above) are truly evil. I'm afraid that they speak for a larger share of the democrat party than most of us would like to believe. How does this end?
As usual, the left couldn't tell the truth if it would save them from eternal damnation.
