  1. But American voters thrive on symbolism and icons and “rock” stars, minority and feministic paranoia. And you can count on the GOP to nominate some loser and Pooh Pooh their base like in 2008 and 2012. Make a Las Vegas bet on it.

  2. …and yet, if the Republicans nominate another Empty-suit statist or gamble on a social conservative, Ms. Clinton could well end up in the White House.

  3. “” Hillary’s mystery: where Clinton stands on issues’s dividing her party “” from bloomberg. Cruze-Carson or Carson-Cruze—- in part to avoid the great white GOP bore. McCain, Romney— The Republican party’s mission is to put you to sleep. The bozo’s also deem fence-straddling an unworthy tactic, at least take the foot out of the mouth. Here is the Republican candidate’s rallying cry —“” That this Nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom–and that Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth.”’ It has officially perished. A Cruze Carson combo has the ability to restore a sense of trust in government.

  4. Is Hillary’s Leona Hemsley like contempt for the law (and basically the American people) just an aberration, or is she just another manifestation of an administration hell bent on ruling, rather than governing?

Barak Obama believes he’s on a righteous mission to “fundamentally transformed” America. Does he think this should be achieved by “any means necessary” (to quote from Eric Holder’s favorite book)? It would seem that the source of Barak Obama’s moral authority comes from a sense of grievance over what he sees as a deeply flawed capitalist system that has produced slavery, Jim Crow and one injustice after another.

From stonewalling the Fast & Furious investigation, tapping the phones and computers of journalists critical of the administration, siccing the IRS on his political opponents in order to influence the outcome of the 2012 election, lying about the causes of the Benghazi attack and jailing a youtube film maker, illegally appointing members to the NLRB, to illegally granting de facto amnesty to 5 million illegal aliens the evidence is pretty clear that the Obama administration doesn’t think it is bound by the Constitution and the law if these should pose an impediment to his righteous mission.

Maybe Hillary’s flagrant disregard for the truth is just one more glaring example of a culture of corruption and deceit within the Obama administration?

  5. The old quip that in the U.S. ‘anyone can become President’ has never been more believable than in the last five and a half decades. The new quip should be ‘a lot of people should never be President’. If something other than cream is rising to the top, we’re not dealing with milk anymore.

  6. In the summer of 2012 we were in central Pennsylvania, and while lunching with an old and astute friend
( since deceased) we asked her who was going to win the Republican nomination. “Romney, I suppose – he has the money” was her immediate response. After much huffing and puffing over several months she was proved correct.

By the same reasoning, the Clintons devoting themselves to fund-raising will prove to be a very good idea, and Obama evidently taking fund-raising to be his central task is also justified. Elizabeth Warren is a never-was by the same icy calculus. Obama’s fund-raising may be in fact the central engine of his despotic control over the Democrat party and hence over the US.

Unless Obama throws his weight (the weight of his money) behind some other candidate the answer to your question is, “NO!”
