Libyan authorities came across the slain bodies of seven Christian Copts in the region of Garutha, less than 20 miles west of Benghazi, on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

According to Libyan authorities, \u201cThe slain were killed by gunshots all over their bodies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pictures (reproduced above and below) confirm that the men were killed \u201cexecution-style,\u201d including one Copt whose head and face were partially shot off.<\/p>\n

The ages of the dead range between 17 and 25.<\/p>\n

Since the ouster of the decades-long dictator of Libya, Gaddafi, Christians in general, Copts from neighboring Egypt in particular, have been suffering abuses at the hands of the empowered Islamists \u2014 from evicted nuns, to Christians arrested, tortured and killed for \u201cproselytizing,\u201d to the bombing of the few churches in Libya.<\/p>\n
