In 2012 in Pakistan, as Christian children were\u00a0singing carols inside their church<\/a>, Muslim men from a nearby mosque barged in with an axe, destroyed the furniture, desecrated the altar, and beat the children.\u00a0 Their justification for such violence?\u00a0 \u201cYou are disturbing our prayers\u2026.\u00a0How dare you<\/em>\u00a0use the mike and speakers?\u201d<\/p>\n

Welcome to the true face of \u201cMuslim grievance\u201d\u2014what I call the \u201chow dare you?!\u201d phenomenon.\u00a0 Remember it next time \u201cprogressive\u201d media and politicians tell you that Muslim terrorism\u2014whether the 9\/11 strikes, Fort Hood Massacre, Boston Bombing, or recent\u00a0London Beheading<\/a>\u2014are products of\u00a0grievances against the West<\/a>. Missing from their analyses is thesupremacist<\/em>\u00a0nature of Muslim grievances.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Conditions of Omar<\/em>, a foundational medieval Muslim text, mandates this sense of superiority over non-Muslims.\u00a0 Among other stipulations, the\u00a0Conditions<\/em>\u00a0commands conquered Christians not to raise their \u201cvoices during prayer or readings in churches anywhere near Muslims\u201d (hence the axe-attack in Pakistan).\u00a0 It also commands them not to display any signs of Christianity\u2014specifically Bibles and crosses\u2014not to build churches, and not to criticize the prophet.<\/p>\n

If the supremacist nature of Islamic law is still not clear enough, the\u00a0Conditions<\/em>\u00a0literally command Christians to give up their seats to Muslims on demand.<\/p>\n

By analogy, consider when black Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat to white passengers in a white supremacist environment.\u00a0 Sincere grievances arose:\u00a0how dare she\u00a0<\/em>think herself our equal?<\/p>\n

But were such grievances legitimate? Should they have been accommodated?<\/p>\n

In my new book,\u00a0Crucified Again: Exposing Islam\u2019s New War on Christians<\/em><\/a>, I document hundreds of attacks on Christians. In most cases, the Muslim attackers are truly aggrieved.<\/p>\n

For example, in 2007 in Turkey, a publishing house distributing Bibles was stormed and three of its Christian employees\u00a0tortured, disemboweled, and finally murdered<\/a>.\u00a0 One suspect later said: \u201cWe didn\u2019t do this for ourselves, but for our religion [Islam]\u2026. Our religion is being destroyed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly, in 2011 in Egypt, after a 17-year-old Christian student refused to obey his Muslim teacher\u2019s orders to cover up his cross, the teacher and some Muslim students attacked, beat, and ultimately\u00a0murdered the Christian teenager<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These Turkish and Egyptian murderers were truly aggrieved: the\u00a0Conditions<\/em>\u00a0clearly state that Christians must not \u201cproduce a cross or Bible\u201d around Muslims.\u00a0How dare<\/em>\u00a0the Egyptian student and Turkish Bible publishers refuse to comply?<\/p>\n

In Indonesia, where it is becoming next to impossible for Christians to build churches, Christians congregated to celebrate Christmas, 2012, on empty land where they hoped to build a church\u2014only to be attacked by Muslims who\u00a0hurled cow dung and bags of urine<\/a>\u00a0at the Christians as they prayed.<\/p>\n

These Muslims were also sincerely aggrieved:\u00a0how dare<\/em>\u00a0these Christians think they can build a church when the\u00a0Conditions<\/em>forbid it?\u00a0 (See\u00a0Crucified Again<\/em><\/a>\u00a0for a new translation of \u201cThe Conditions of Omar.)<\/p>\n

Weeks ago in Pakistan,\u00a0<\/strong>after a Christian man was accused of insulting Muslim prophet Muhammad\u2014another big no-no according to the\u00a0Conditions<\/em>\u20143,000 Muslims burned down two churches and some 200 Christian homes.<\/p>\n

Take a look\u00a0at their pictures<\/a>; these are undoubtedly people with a \u201cgrievance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Most recently in Pakistan, when a Muslim slapped a Christian and the latter reciprocated, the Muslim exclaimed \u201cHow dare a Christian slap me<\/a>?\u201d Anti-Christian violence immediately commenced.<\/p>\n

In short, anytime non-Muslims dare to overstep their Sharia-designated \u201cinferior\u201d status, supremacist Muslims become violently aggrieved.<\/p>\n

From here, one can begin to understand the ultimate Muslim grievance: Israel.<\/p>\n

For if \u201cinfidel\u201d Christians are deemed inferior and attacked by aggrieved Muslims for exercising their basic human rights, like freedom of worship, how must Muslims feel about Jews\u2014the descendants of pigs and apes, according to the Koran\u2014exercising power and authority over fellow Muslims in what is perceived to be Muslim land?<\/p>\n

How dare they?!<\/em><\/p>\n

Of course, if grievances against Israel were really about justice and displaced Palestinians, Muslims\u2014and their Western appeasers\u2014would be aggrieved by the fact that\u00a0millions of Christians are currently being displaced by Muslim invaders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, they are not.<\/p>\n

So the next time you hear that Muslim rage and terrorism are products of grievance, remember that this is absolutely true.\u00a0 But these \u201cgrievances\u201d are not predicated on any universal standards of equality or justice, only a supremacist worldview.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
