Throughout society today, elites justify their control of or manipulation of information as for the good of the people, Hanson says. It\u2019s the \u201cnoble lie\u201d: \u201cI\u2019m smarter than you. I\u2019m your platonic guardian. I can lie for your own good\u2026Just don\u2019t dare suggest I\u2019m lying,\u201d Hanson says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
