George\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">Marshall remains the epitome of\u00a0understated and quiet competence. The\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"a\">alternative and more controversial sorts are the loud, often\u00a0reckless and pro-<\/span><span class=\"a\">fane, pile drivers. Think\u00a0Andrew Jackson or Teddy Roosevelt.
