The Democratic Party is now transforming into a many-headed monster.

Indeed, it is growing three complementary fanged heads that work in concert against its supposedly three main enemies—the Democratic Old Guard, the traditional idea of America as a constitutional republic and free-market economy, and the hated demographic of the “toxic” white/Christian/male.

Why are the socialist/communists/Islamists eating their own?

Powerlessness?

Under the Democratic establishment, the Left lost the Congress, the presidency, and the Supreme Court, so the new radicals blame the old guard. They care nothing that in the yin and yang of politics, the old guard could win back power in the traditional cyclical “throw the bums out” fashion.

They instead want total power now to open the border, import another 10 million illegal immigrants from the Third World, pack the court, destroy the Electoral College, bring in DC and Puerto Rico as states, and end the filibuster. That way, they can expedite their Marxist agenda of confiscating private wealth and property, cancelling debts, appropriating utilities and transportation, and returning to radical green policies while warring on fossil fuels.

They are learning, however, that their agenda wins little support outside left-wing enclaves. So, their solution, aside from changing the system, is to keep bringing in new third-world constituents, hook them on entitlements, and register them to vote by mail, while changing the system so that they do not lose elections again.

For now, their more immediate grand strategy is to win elections in far-left districts, terrify fuddy-duddy septuagenarian politicos enough to retire, force scared traditional Democrats to keep mouthing “big tent” platitudes until they cave and join the communist Jacobins, or mobilize to defeat Democrat incumbents as the true and real enemies of the Marxist cause.

(By the way, the Democratic Socialists do not object to being called communists; they consider that charge a badge of honor, and see Castro, Chavez, Mao, and Lenin as their heroes.)

So, the choices remaining for a Schumer or Jeffries and their followers are either to retire now, or become a “Democratic Socialist” in actuality, even if not in name, or be primaried. What we will not likely see—until the socialist/communist ticket loses the 2024 elections in the Senate and in 2028 the presidency—is a serious Democratic Party effort to throw out the Jacobins from their “big tent” charade. (Have you noticed how nauseously that the DNC talking point “big tent” memo has been reiterated to death? Note too that the communists never say “big tent” since their agenda is to swallow, not join, the old Democratic Party whole.)

Hydra #2. Hating America

The second Hydra head seeks to bare its fangs against the U.S. itself. The Jacobins do not participate in current July 4th celebrations and make sure ossified Democrat politicians, celebrities, and entertainers do not either.

Capitalism is evil in their eyes, or at least lethal when communists are not as rich as others. George Soros is a saint (he broke the Bank of England once and fled civil charges in France). So is Reid Hoffman (an Epstein close crony), and Neville Roy Singham (who resides in communist China). Apparently, give money to the Jacobins, and you can earn an exemption when the revolution comes, as if the Bolsheviks did not kill off the Russian nomenklatura aristocracy who joined them out of expediency.

So, billionaires are bad only when they do not fund communists. Ro Khanna (D-CA), a new fellow traveler with multimillion-dollar trusts at his disposal, lectures about “fairness” and “equality,” but his wife drives a $190,000 Range Rover. The Islamist/socialist podcaster Hasan Piker prefers a $130,000 Porsche Taycan. The new socialist Obamas like four mansions and flying private. So do AOC and Bernie Sanders (he only has three, not four homes).

They constantly berate America for ancient sins such as slavery and dub America as a settler-colonial enterprise (Does that apply to the Mamdani family’s elite 1% status in Uganda, as late-coming colonialists? And what are the millions of immigrants who flock to America, stay in enclaves, and make no effort to integrate—if not settler-colonialists themselves?)

Reparations, widely defined as eternal racial preferences, direct reparatory cash, expanded entitlements and unconstitutional racially separate graduations, dorms, safe spaces, etc., are the new socialists’ boilerplate.

“White” privilege, supremacy, rage, etc. (fill in the blanks) are now rendered banal talking points.

Oddly, the new socialists-communists have an uneasy relationship with blacks. Why?

A subtext of the attack on America by the new socialism/communism, one that we are not supposed to mention, is that this hard left surge is spearheaded largely by first- or second-generation immigrants, mostly if not all from former failed states of what we once knew as the Third World. And the inner-city black community feels overwhelmed, especially from Spanish-speaking immigrants, mostly illegal, who arrive with centuries-old racial prejudices against blacks from their Latin American homelands and swarm social services originally designed for the U.S. citizen poor.

The Omars, Mamdanis, Tlaibs, and Chevaliers of the movement can never explain why they or their parents left their failed-state homelands to arrive in a safe, free, prosperous, and fair nation, which has subsidized their educations and supported them—given their present rhetoric claims that the U.S. is a terrible place. (Why, then, did they come, and why would they not leave such a wretched country to return home to their paradisical birthplaces?)
