Professor Hanson, I am in disbelief that you minimized the role of the Jewish faith leaders and the mob, by emphasizing that the Romans did the execution of Jesus. While technically factual, it is highly misleading to the record of Jesus’ challenging the Jewish leader’s doctrine, status, and livelihood. It was this cabal that placed him in Pilate’s hands for elimination. I am a great supporter of Israel and the Jewish people as a whole, and believe this historical event is contextual. The only cause to action is for every individual to form his own faith belief.

Hey Gerry, I believe Professor Hanson was commenting on the elite rich kid types of that generation; not all boomers, of course. Wherever they came from there are enough of them out there that we all know what a Karen is 👵🤣.

Professor Hanson is right about everything, as usual. Except that the hippie culture of the California colleges in the 60's and 70's did not then and does not now represent baby boomer beliefs or lifestyles. This only happened on very few college campuses and by very few people on those campuses.
